The winner of last week’s doodle contest was the lovely and talented (and Canadian!) Silk Purse Productions. This is what she asked for:
How about something televisiony? I was a TV producer for years and confess that I am still addicted to the craft. Watch, watch, watch a lot of TV. Maybe just something with your version of me with the purple hair watching TV. It would be cool if the TV screen showed SilkPurse Productions.
Well, Silk Purse, your doodle wish is my command.
And here it is! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! The Official Drawing to see who wins an original, one-of-a-kind, Mike Allegra Doodle!

The grand (and only) prize will be a custom made, one-of-a-kind, Mike Allegra doodle of ANYTHING YOU WANT!
“Anything?” you ask.
Yes, anything—provided that “anything” isn’t perverted. I’m a children’s book author, after all, so get your mind out of the gutter!
Otherwise, yes. ANYTHING!
Past contest winners have asked for all kinds of doodles. Like exotic birds…
A caffeine gnome…
A raven shapeshifter (whatever that is)…
A woman doing yoga and holding a pen as the ghost of her dearly departed dog looks on…
And (of course) that freaking salamander.
The wining name will be drawn at random from the Hat of Randomness. The draw-er is this guy.
He’s weird but fair.
To get your name in the Hat, all you need to do is leave an Interesting Tidbit about yourself in the comments section below.
I know “interesting” is a subjective term so let me give you some idea of what I’m looking for:
NOT Interesting: “I like ice cream.”
TOO Interesting: “I hunt Armenians for sport.”
Please look for a Tidbit that falls somewhere between those two extremes, okay.
