School Visits: I am an educator and trained public speaker and I love to visit schools! I’ve worked with classes as small as six students, all-school assemblies for groups as large as 500, and most every audience size in between. In my talks, I discuss my writing process and path to publication. I also offer practical guidance to harness the creative spirit, move past failures, and effectively ignore the self-destructive impulses of our Inner Critics. For classroom groups, I can conduct fun, age-appropriate writing workshops or, if you prefer, a storytime followed by a freewheeling Q&A.

I can tailor a school visit to suit most scheduling and curricular requirements and am more than willing to work with teachers and event coordinators to provide a program to fit various budgets. Let’s talk options!
