A Holiday Vaycay!

It’s the time for giving, getting, and being various shades of merry!

For some, it is also a time to mess up a Target Portrait Studios photo shoot in order to show off a pair of Christmas socks.

For me, it is a time to shut down the ol’ blog until the new year.

I’ll be back soon! And don’t worry; I have some big things planned for January:

New resolutions (and a lament about the only resolution I didn’t manage to pull off in 2015)!
A new doodle contest (with a twist)!
And a somber tale about my family’s funniest funeral.

The Long Goodbye

Summer is almost here. It is time to break out the swimsuits. It is time to pretend you’re eating ice cream to “keep cool”. And, yes, it is time to get your hot weather, extra short haircut.

Summer also means it is time for me shut down the blog until September.

A Blog Break? Really? Dang.

Ugh. I’m going to have to be one of those I-Need-To-Give-This-Blogging-Thing-A-Rest-For-A-While People.

I never expected to be one of those people, but it can’t be helped. A bit too much is coming at me a bit too fast and I won’t be able to give this blog the attention it deserves. I won’t lie to you; this bums me out. I like it here and I really like all of you guys.

But, fear not. I do see the light at the end of this tunnel. I’ll be back in about a month.
