I’m Going to Disneyworld!

As many of you know, I am pro-rodent (or “prodent”). So it is only right that I should periodically have a meet ‘n’ greet with a giant mouse in Florida.

Because of this, I won’t be able to do much of anything on this blog for the next two weeks.

But don’t worry; my pet rat, Lucy, promised to write something pithy during my absence.

My understudy.
My understudy.

Here’s hoping she’ll keep her profanity in check. For once.

  1. Lucy – looking forward to reading all your pithy and profanity-free wisdom during WriterFellow’s absence. Be nice to the person who fills your bottle and bowl during his absence!

  2. Well now you’ve put a lot of pressure on Lucy, as you’ve got us all a flurry with excitement! Have fun with the mouse (does Lucy consider this “cheating on her?”)

  3. I’ll settle for a postcard from your family and my very favorite mouse. I’ll be heading down with Dana’s family in July to celebrate how well she’s doing and my 70th birthday. Have a fantasmic time!!

  4. Our neighbours are going there tomorrow, would be funny if you saw them. Hannah asks to go there every single day. Have a great time!

      1. LoL Millers. Dare you to charge dinner to them, just kidding 😉

  5. TWO WEEKS at Disney? Man, as if I weren’t envious before, now I’m positively EMERALD with jealousy. That means I have a little more time to write my inaugural Historical Dirt post, though, so that’s good. Because it would be silly to post it when the person it’s dedicated to is waiting on line for the Jungle Cruise.

    1. Oh, goodness, no! I’m spending just one week at The Happiest Place on Earth. I’m turning over Week Two to my rat, Lucy, while I catch up on missed work and re-adjust to my decidedly unmagical, non-Disney life.

  6. I haven’t been to Disneyworld, but I have been to Disneyland a number of times. The last few times I went, my brother and I (both adults) purchased the kids pirate sword, and proceeded to have fencing duels while waiting in line. We also believe in waving to people as they pass by on the train, or ride and see who waves back.
Hope you have an awesome time.

      1. Speaking of ice cream, the Tiki room at Disneyland has amazing Dole pineapple frozen yogurt. I also found this at a Menchie’s once.
This is well worth waiting in line for, if they have it at Disneyworld – unless you are allergic to pineapple.

  7. Smart move, Disney World after spring break and before summer hits the streets.

Two weeks? Lucy is gonna have a field day. She will excommunicate all your followers who like cats (even if we’re allergic) and while she’s at it, probably all the dog lovers, too! You’ll have only prodents, food bloggers (Remy from Ratatouille), and the occasional Francophile following your blog. She’s probably clicking the “unfollow” and “delete” buttons as I type! Nooooooooooooo……….

    1. You and your boy have been on Lucy’s poop list for awhile, I’m afraid.

      “Celebrate Cats,” indeed!

I will do my best to undo any damage upon my return. Still, it wouldn’t hurt for you to make nice.
