The Hook’s blog is the most impressive thing to ever come out of Niagara. Ever.

So you can imagine my delight when the best bellman north of Trenton asked to interview me for his 5×5 series. Go on over and check it out!

Now those are fun interview questions! Stealing.
Steal away!
Hey!
Kidding – go for it!
Great Interview! I’m a new Fan. Isn’t The Hook just “Off The Hook”! I really admire him….
I’m enjoying your blog too. *Author, Catherine Townsend-Lyon* Blessings 🙂
Welcome, Catherine! Stay a while! Have a scone!
I’m drinking my first cup of coffee and scone!…LOL Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 *Cat*
Loved the tent room! I’m thinking your wife deserves some type of reward for her efforts. Maybe a dump truck filled with her favorite ice cream?!
She’s more of a dark chocolate person, but point taken.
Ice cream — so good any time of year! My favorite is cookie dough ice cream, although chocolate & peanut butter runs a close second.
Cookie dough! I knew you and I were kindred spirits, Eagle Eye!
*busts out laughing*
Great Interview! Your Christmas tradition reminded me of the cutest response my daughter ever gave to receiving a present. It was her second birthday, she had so many presents they must have become a blur. She opens a box which reveals tissue paper, commonly see in wrapping clothing. Without opening it further, she stares at the white tissue paper and says, “Oh, How Beautiful!” As if it was the best gift ever, then she set the box down and picked up the next one.
No kid under three should get a “real” present — for those are The Discovery Years. Just give ’em a box, a big brown bag, paper plates, Tupperware, pots and pans… Then take comfort in knowing in that they will make their own fun.
Even at seven years…a small refrigerator box got more interest than it’s contents…tons of gift wrapped packages!
Once the packages were removed from the box, her first thought was not about opening presents…and yes, it was Christmas day…her first thought was about climbing into the empty box!
And I am off to check it out. Gotta love that Hookman!
Cool beans.
