Sleepy Happy Capy KUDOS!

Capybaras are so ding-dang cuddlable!

The lovely-yet-difficult-to-please folks at Kirkus let me peek at their forthcoming review for Sleepy Happy Capy Cuddles.

And, well, it’s awesome.

The review doesn’t come out until next week, so I’m not allowed to post it here.

But I can post a line:

High Fives for a title you’ll want to embrace.”

Kirkus Reviews

YAY! If I was a capybara I would be FLOOFing right now (because that’s what super happy capys do).

The book won’t be out until October, but you can preorder it here. Both Kirkus and I think preordering is a very good idea.

Take care!

  1. Congratulations, Mike!! How exciting! I can’t wait to read the entire review, and then the BOOK, itself. It’s going to be fun to introduce my little granddaughter to Capy, and I’m eager to see more of the illustrations, too. Way to go! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. Yaaaayyyy!! A great review from Kirkus! This looks and sounds so cuddle-able. Congrats! If I’m not mistaken, I think I’ve already pre-ordered, but I’ll go check….

  3. Wonderful news!! Way to go, happy capy pal! Please let us know when the full review is out–I’d love to link to it on my FB account. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. How exciting for you, Mikey!
Sounds like a great review and I see a lot of book sales in your future.
I’m also seeing more books…. oh wait…..Look Out!!! They’re toppling!!
Phew! I’m so glad you’re not going to be buried under a shelf of books. But you will write more, that is very clear, and they will be very successful.

    1. Thanks so much for the very kind words, my friend.

There are far worse ways to go than to get buried under a heavy shelf of one’s own books. I eagerly await the day I have enough titles to my name that their collective weight can crush me to death.

  5. Iโ€™m floofing for you. My gosh, I remember a time years ago I wrote a capy story for your writing contest (that had to include a certain pie) and won! Your love of the capybara has come a long way.
