Holy schmoley! My new picture book, Everybody’s Favorite Book, will be in stores in about two weeks!
And if you preorder it here, you can save more than five bucks off the cover price!
Which should make you giddy, because, you know, this book will be your most favorite book ever. It will be everybody’s favorite book, you see, because that’s what the cover says.
If you want to learn a little more about Everybody’s Favorite Book, check out the interview I did with the awesome folks at SCBWI! (I’m giddy about that, too!)
Ahem. Sorry. I’ll try to calm down.

I already have it on my preorder list.
You are welcome.
Get your pen ready again.
You are a lovely lady, Boo.
…aw shucks….shuffles da feet…..ya turn mah head sir……
Giddy for guinea pigs! And books! Woo!
And this guinea pig is (literally and figuratively) awesome.
Sounds like a great concept for a picture book. One that teachers will love to use in the classroom, no doubt!
Oh, I like how you think, Becky.
Congrats, Mike! Look forward to reading it.
Zombies and a Space Ninja Cow? Sounds wonderfully creative, Mike. Congrats! I love the cover too. 😀
Beneath the dust jacket is a picture of a giant guinea pig.
Great interview, Mike. I like how you switch genres in writing for children from Sarah Hale to a guinea pig. Where’s the teacup pig that you wanted ME to include in my adult mystery?? Anyway, I’ve pre-ordered, not because of the five bucks, but because I’m one of your biggest fans.
And I am one of YOUR biggest fans! So it works out!
PS: Thank you, thank, you, thank you!
And I’ll try to find room for a teacup pig in the next book.
Hey Mike I am ordering several for nieces and nephews! I would like to have them signed… will they come signed or do I need to do something specific? 😉
You can send ’em to me via media mail and I’ll sign ’em for you! Go to the “Hire Me” menu above and send me an email.
Pretty crafty making that the title of the book. I mean, who can refuse it then?
It’s written down so you know it’s true. So! How many copies can I put you down for? Six dozen?
Or one. One copy is fine too.
You bounced through that interview! I love you enthusiasm. Who wouldn’t want to read your book after learning it’s about just laughing and having fun! Good luck to you.
Thanks so much, Patricia! It was an incredibly fun book to write.
Possibly the funnest.
Woo hoo! so much excitement! So much success! So much Giddiness!! Yay!!
So much “so-muchness!” Woo!
I’d say calm down but I have to confess that I got giddy as well when Amazon sent me a notification that the books I ordered…
