At long last, it’s time to find out who will win the bestest holiday and/or non-holiday gift ever.
It’s the amazing picture book that has it all—and more.
It’s the ideal story for the reader who has everything, the non-reader who has nothing, and the sometimes-reader who has some things.
You guessed it, we’re talkin’ about…
Everybody’s Favorite Book!
So! Let’s get started!
The ballots have been made.
They have been dumped in the Santa Hat of Gift Giverishness.
We’ll pick those ballots off the floor…
And Our Loyal Judge (a judge I probably should’ve fired by now) will select the winner.
(And since Christmas is a bit too close for comfort, Our Loyal Judge has been firmly instructed to stop wasting everyone’s time by endlessly mixing the ballots—which he is wont to do. In the spirit of the holiday, he agreed.)
And heeeere we go!
How did that get in there?
Select again! And the winner is…
What did you do, Judge? Come on, let’s go!
And the winner is…
I will kill you.
STOP WASTING EVERYONE’S TIME!
PICK A BALLOT!
And the winner is…
Patricia Tilton!
Congratulations Patricia! To claim your prize, all you have to do is head over to the “Hire Me!” menu item and send me an email!
And to all you fine folks who didn’t win, fear not! There’s still time to buy a copy of Everybody’s Favorite Book for yourself, your child, a random child, your significant other, your insignificant other, your friend, frenemy, colleague, mailman, plumber, and/or the nice fellow who picks up your recycling.
It really is the perfect gift for everyone. Order it HERE, or buy it wherever fine and/or subpar books are sold.
Congratulations, Patricia! You will not be disappointed. A couple of kids in my family were lucky as well and got that exact same book from their favourite Aunt at our Christmas gathering. They loved it!
It seems appropriate that Everybody’s Favorite Book should’ve been given by Everybody’s Favorite Aunt. Well done, Michelle!
Congratulations, Patricia! Glad to see the persistence of the Mary Poppins-esque hat draw was successful. 🙂
Oh, the bottom of that dang hat can go on foreeeever.
In fact, Julie Andrews got her MP hat from my house. True story!
ENJOY!! I have that book already but it would have been nice for an autographed copy for my local library…..(raises left eyebrow)
lol
What are you suggesting? *raises right eyebrow*
*whistles innocently and shuffles feet while looking up at the ceiling* nuttin’ honey.
Congrats to Our Loyal Judge for a fine, entertaining photo shoot and for picking an excellent, well-deserving winner. YAY Pat!
Our loyal Judge does enjoy his shenanigans.
I’m thrilled for Patricia. I’m equally thrilled to see Mike’s judge maturing into a fine immature young man, taking after fine his old man. I’m not thrilled that I didn’t win an autographed copy of this ridiculously fine picture book. I brought a copy to my on-the-other coast grandboys. The oldest (10) said to the youngest (6) “you gotta read this – it’s really funny.” No finer compliment can a book get.
You’re absolutely right; word of mouth among the young’uns is the highest praise of all.
Send me an email when you get a moment. I think I might have something for you.
Oh my, thank you so much! I had it on my list to order! I am thrilled to win, as I rarely ever do! Can’t wait to read your book! Happy Holidays!
Congrats, Patricia!
And, hey, even though you’re won a copy of the book, you can still can buy a copy, too! 😉
Wait—stop stirring!! I didn’t get my ballot in…😲
Geez, Cricket. I already delayed the raffle by nearly 10 days. You expect me to have the patience of Job or something?
Wouldn’t want you to do anything that causes you discomfort…
Congratulations, Patricia! It looks like a great read!
Oh, it is! And if you order through Amazon, you can save $5 off the cover price!
You should totally do that.
I always love these drawings, even though I never win. You and your son always make it such a hoot.
Congrats! Patricia. Now I will have to get my own copy. It will certainly be worth it.
You two need to take your act on the road! And I, clearly, have to change my WordPress notifications so that I know what’s going on in advance…..
